Supporting and Improving Access to Clinical Simulation

Simulation is an increasingly important part of clinical training. Yet, a trainees access to simulation and exposure to facilitation can be limited. CLINSIM.ORG has been developed to help bridge this gap.

This new venture from the Student specialist interest group within the Association for Simulated Practice in Healthcare (sASPiH) provides:

  • A platform for sharing simulation resources - submit under Resources > Submit!
  • A place to learn how to increase access locally, with advice from programme leaders across the UK
  • Updates from sASPiH, including opportunities for students and trainees

Submitting resources to CLINSIM.ORG allows established centres gain recognition for their work. Providing these valid, safe scenarios to otherwise thus allows more centres, including new student/trainee-led programmes, to run more sessions - which we believe will increase both access and engagement.
